Reflecting on a Year of Mystery Shopping

It’s hard to believe that today is the last day of the year. I’ve had a wonderful time mystery shopping this year. I’ve been paid to visit many new stores and have eaten a lot of delicious food. I even got paid to enjoy a delicious $75.00 steak!

Below is a snapshot of my year!

I ate at 159 restaurants.

I shopped at 120 retail stores.

I visited 91 gas stations.

I shopped at 31 grocery stores.

I completed a total of 401 mystery shops.

I shopped 144 days.

I worked 198 hours.

Mystery shopping found me 14 years ago when I was in a lot of debt and it was one of the side hustles that helped me become debt free. As I close out this year I remember how grateful I was, and still am, for this fun and profitable side hustle.
